Message from My Refuge: January, 2013

God is our Refuge and Strength a very present help in trouble.

New Years Greeting to you and family. We would like to first of all take this opportunity to thank our Lord Jesus for his endless covering thru 2012 and also want to say we thank God for your obedience of your partnership with us here in Belize for the past years. Our prayer for this new year is Lord make us a blessing to the nation, for the nations. For the past 18th years My Refuge has been a stable force in the Belmopan area, faithfully transmitting over the airways the good news of Jesus Christ thru teaching, worship and talk shows. We want to thank all pastors and teachers who have been airing there programs on My Refuge Radio. Thanks for choosing Belize. Lives have been change thru these teaching and talk shows. We had a lady call in and ask for councilling and prayers. We thank Father God that this radio station was on as she listen she was able to received the word of the Lord for her life. She says she wanted to commit suicide, but now realize that Jesus loves her, we have been meeting with her and have seeing the Lord restore there marriage and restore her confident in the Lord. Praise God! Praise God! As a ministry we continue to go to Belize City every 2nd Friday of the month where we meet at the park for worship and prayer with others in Belize City. This City have been infested with gangs where there is always shooting and killing. We need deliverance, peace and the power of God’s salvation to reach out to this City. Could you please join us on these Friday’s to believe with us for breakthrough.. The last Friday is in Belmopan City. In the month of February we have marriage retreat and Banguet where we encourage marriage couples to stay in love.

March 16th & 17th is a weekend retreated call “Igniting the Fire” a time to enlarge our tent, for churches from every district of Belize to come together in the Belmopan area for Gospel Expo. Where we will be having worship all day long, youth worshop, Children Ministry and prayer for the nation of Belize. Please pray for us on these two special day that our hearts will be set on fire for the Lord and everyone that comes, lives will never be the same. We invite you to come and be with us for this event if you can. We would be honor for you to join us for such a time as this. Love and appreciate you all. Many blessings to you and family. PRAYER NEEDS:

A full time Secretary
financial support of $3000.00Bze to reach our monthly budget to pay our bills.
Richard & Rosa and children. Also for our family financial needs of $400.00 more to meet our family budget monthly.
For God's wisdom and understanding as we continue to offer counceling to marriages, HIV and family.
Financial support for new projects such as Mentoring Program ($100.00 US/month/person – to cover room/board) to take young men and woman through a three month mentoring program.
New development such as staff housing and conference room
Sponsorship of programs on radio.
